When to webcast
When a Webcast Makes Sense in Brisbane
Most Brisbane organisations book a webcast for one reason: the audience is bigger than the room. Members spread across Queensland, staff in regional offices, stakeholders interstate or overseas. A webcast lets them watch live, ask questions and vote as if they were there.
A webcast also turns a one-off event into something that lasts. A recorded keynote, briefing or training session keeps working for months after the day.
Common reasons organisations book a webcast:

What We Can Deliver
Some events need one camera and a reliable stream. Others need a full broadcast with remote presenters, voting and a branded portal. Here's what each part of a webcast involves, so you can choose what your event needs.
| Service | What it involves |
|---|---|
| Multi-camera production | Two to four cameras with a director switching shots live, plus your slides cut into the stream so remote viewers see what the room sees. |
| Branded webcast page | A webcast page in your branding, open, password-protected or behind a registration form that captures attendee details. |
| Live Q&A and polling | Remote viewers send questions and vote. A moderator passes questions to the chair, and results can be shown on screen. |
| Remote presenters | Speakers join through Zoom or Teams and appear on the room screens and in the webcast, with clean audio for both audiences. |
| Simulcast | Stream to your webcast page and to YouTube, LinkedIn or Facebook at the same time. |
| Recording and viewer report | A full recording, edited to remove breaks if needed, plus a report on who watched and for how long. |

Our process
How We Run Your Webcast
- Brief and run sheet
We go through your program, speakers, slides, video clips and audience, and agree what the webcast needs to do.
- Venue tech check
We confirm internet, power, the house sound desk and camera positions with the venue before the day, using our venue connectivity checklist.
- Webcast page and invitations
We set up your branded page and registration, ready for you to send the link to attendees.
- Set up and rehearse
The crew arrives early, tests the full signal chain and runs through transitions with your MC and AV team.
- Go live, then deliver
We produce the event live and send the recording and viewer report afterwards.
You run the event. We make sure everyone watching sees and hears it properly.
Local venues
Webcasting at Brisbane Venues
We cover events at Brisbane's major venues, including the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre at South Bank, the Royal International Convention Centre at the Showgrounds, Brisbane City Hall and Howard Smith Wharves, as well as hotel ballrooms, boardrooms and university lecture theatres across the CBD.
We're based in Brisbane, so most CBD and South Bank venues are a short drive away. We know which rooms have a house sound desk we can take a feed from, which ones need our own audio, and where in-house wifi won't carry a stream.

A Clear Plan Before Your Event
A webcast that drops out in front of your board or members is worse than no webcast at all. Before you confirm, we explain exactly what will be filmed, how viewers will join, and what happens if the venue internet fails.
Every event is recorded on site as well as streamed, and we bring our own bonded mobile internet and a backup encoder. If something does go wrong, the recording is safe and the stream is back within moments.
Our goal is simple: your remote audience gets the same event as the people in the room.

FAQs
Brisbane Webcasting FAQs
How far ahead should we book a webcast?
Two to four weeks is ideal for conferences and AGMs, as it leaves time for a branded registration page and a rehearsal. We can often cover events booked within a week when a crew is free, so call as soon as the date is set.
Do you charge travel for Brisbane venues?
Venues across greater Brisbane are covered in the standard quote. For events further out, any travel is included in the fixed quote so there are no surprises.
Can remote viewers ask questions and vote in polls?
Yes. Viewers can send questions through the webcast page, and a moderator passes them to the chair or MC on stage. Live polls and voting can also be run for AGMs and member meetings.
Can you bring remote presenters in through Zoom or Teams?
Yes. Presenters joining from elsewhere appear on the room screens and in the webcast, with their audio fed through the venue sound system so the in-room audience hears them clearly.
What happens if the venue internet fails?
We test the venue connection before the day and bring our own bonded mobile internet and a backup encoder. The event is also recorded locally, so a full recording is always available afterwards.
Is the webcast private?
It can be. Choose a public stream, a password, or a registration page that collects attendee details. We can also stream to YouTube, LinkedIn or Facebook at the same time if you want a wider audience.
Do we get a recording and viewer report?
Yes. You receive the full recording, edited to remove breaks if needed, plus a report showing how many people watched and for how long.
